Phoebe is so gassy--if she isn't tooting, she's trying to push one out! At least when it's not making her fussy, it gives her gassy smiles, which makes for great gassy smiley pictures! It was nice and warm outside, so I got her dressed up today for a trip to the backyard, which she mostly slept through. We got some cute pictures of her on the couch (and tried in vain to get her to put her hands down, but even half asleep they somehow made their way back up to her face), and also on her vibrating chair. She's a lot paler than when she was first born--she must have been so dark from just floating upside down in her mom's stomach for so long.
She reminds me a bit of Spike from Land Before Time here.
She may look happy...
We've forgotten the crackers, Gromit!
This is the best shot we could get of her with her hands out of her face. Dweebie Phoebe!
She seems to have more of her dad than her mom in her, as illustrated by their shared preferred sleeping positions:
I've also included a video of her as a newborn from the hospital. Her eyes are watery from the ointment they applied to prevent infections--not from crying.
